Drawing on fractured memories to reconstruct the lasting emotional truth of events is difficult and fascinating work.
I can't believe the MFA is over. I learned so much and will miss the community of amazing students and poetry mentors -- esp. Dan Bellm, Jim Daniels, Victoria Chang, Carol Potter, Jenny Factor...
I was delighted to read with these featured poets in a great art gallery space in Osterville, MA. Alice was the guest editor of the issue of Cape Cod Poetry Review who selected my poem "Wellfleet" so I was able to thank her in person.
